Catering, custom-planned for your event
One-of-a-kind menus for weddings, corporate parties, and every celebration between. Never frozen, never pre-made, always set up and cleaned up for you.

How much is catering per person?
Just Desserts Catering & Cakes is a family-run wedding caterer in Sophia, North Carolina, and our dinner packages start at $17.95 per person. That covers the food, disposable serviceware, linens for the food tables, full setup, and cleanup before we leave. Adding a second meat, another side, a carving station, or a grazing table moves the per-person number up from there. We cater across Randolph County and the Piedmont Triad, including Sophia, Randleman, Asheboro, Greensboro, and High Point.
Food costs move with the season and the market, so treat $17.95 as the honest floor rather than a final number. Once you pick your menu we put the real figure in writing, and the price you sign is the price you pay. Everyone deserves a beautiful and affordable event, and we would rather tell you what something costs up front than hide it behind a consultation.
Tell us your date and guest count and we will price it out for you. Send us the details for a custom quote, or call (336) 989-4288 and talk to a person.

Questions we get every week
How far ahead should I book?
Sooner is better, and Saturdays in spring and fall go first. That said, we do not brush off short notice. If your date is close, call and ask. We will look at the calendar with you and tell you plainly whether we can do it justice, because a rushed yes helps nobody. Ask us what is still open on your date and we will tell you that day.
Where do you deliver and serve?
Our kitchen is at 2880 Beckerdite Road in Sophia, right in the middle of Randolph County. We cater regularly in Randleman, Asheboro, Greensboro, High Point, and out across the Piedmont Triad, at venues, churches, offices, and back yards. If your venue sits outside that circle, ask anyway. We travel for the right event, and we will tell you up front whether the drive changes your quote.
Can you handle gluten-free, allergies, and other dietary needs?
Tell us early and we will plan around it. Because everything is cooked from scratch in our kitchen rather than pulled from a freezer, we know exactly what goes into a dish and can adjust it. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and nut or dairy allergies come up at nearly every event we cater. Our kitchen is not an allergen-free facility, so for a severe allergy bring us the specifics and we will walk you through how the dish is made before you decide.
What is included, and what costs extra?
Every dinner package includes disposable serviceware, linens for the food tables, full setup, and full cleanup. Carving stations, display stations, à la carte appetizers, beverages, and dessert are add-ons, priced by what you choose. Linen and china rentals are available if you want the dressed-up look instead of disposables. Whatever the mix, it lands on one written quote with no surprise line items on the invoice.
Do you cater weddings?
Weddings are most of what we do. As a wedding caterer we handle the rehearsal dinner, the reception buffet or stations, the grazing table, the punch, and the cake, so you are not juggling four vendors and four timelines. Our family also runs Becker Hill Events, a venue a few minutes away, if you still need a place to put everybody.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes. We sit down with you, taste through the dishes you are considering, and build the menu around your guest count, your venue, and your budget in the same meeting. It is also the right time to talk through cake flavors and dietary needs. Ask for a tasting when you call and we will find a time.
Question not on this list? That is what the phone is for. Send us your date and guest count and we will come back with real numbers.
